Sharon,
Here's a picture of my
latest. Feel free to do what you want to do with the pictures I send.
First, I'd like to tell you
a little about myself. I'm 74 years old, and I'm on dialysis three days a
week, but quilting keeps me going the rest of the time. I am now working
on the Blue & White one from your book. Like I told Denise in Knoxville, I
think that the Smart Plate is the greatest thing to come out since the
electric sewing machine.
The reason we didn't meet
in Knoxville, was because the owner of our local shop kept you busy. Sandy
of the Quilter Quarters in Waynesville.
Right now, I plan to make
ten quilts out of your book, as I am to do a presentation at our February
Guild meeting. I am the token male in the guild, with over 50 women.
For our challenge piece
this year, we were to make something with blue and green, so you see what
I've done about that. It is at the quilters now, so I'm anxious to see
what she does with it.
Enough for now, my Viking
is calling me.
Take care,
Paul
Wow, Paul. Thank you for your compliment on my
Smart-Plate and technique. You certainly are a fast worker and I look
forward to seeing the others you plan to make. (Though, I am curious which
of the 13 quilts are the 3 you have chosen NOT to make?)
