Hi Everyone.

    Here's what I've been doing:

June 15, 2010

Hi Everyone!

It is mid-June and I have been graduation hopping! I am very proud to say my daughter has graduated from High-school, my son has graduated from Middle-school and my little boy has graduated from Nursery... all in the past 5 days.

It has been great to start off the summer this way and everyone is awaiting to begin their summer fun.

Quiltmaker Magazine has reviewed my template and many readers have been excited about the ease as which they will be able to make the Kaleidoscope block, as many of you already know.

In the mean time, I have been busy trying to come up with some quick and easy projects for large scale prints. If you have any suggestions on blocks I can use, the advice would be welcome.

Enjoy the sunny weather and keep on stitchin'

HAPPY SPRING

Here is the good news! : ^ )

I am happy to report that my patent application for the Smart-Plate has been approved! YAY.

Also, Quiltmaker will be reviewing my Kaleidoscope Smart-Plate in an upcoming issue, so keep an eye out for it and buy the magazine.

I will be having a lectures, demos/trunk shows, and workshops both nationally and internationally over the next 6 months. If your guild or show would like to book an appearance, please contact me so I can get you into my calendar. For a full listing of current classes and appearances, see Class Schedule

My Make it/Take it classes have been doing great. If you are interested in any of the patterns, please contact the Cozy Quilt Shoppe to order.

I have received more pictures of your quilts made from patterns from my book. Keep them coming, and get posted on my Wall of Fame!

Here is the bad news : ^ (

There is a mistake in my "Classic Blue and White" pattern in my book. All 4 Border strips should be cut 42 1/2" (if everything measures up exactly,) not 2 at 42 1/2" and 2 at 30 1/2". I apologize for any inconvenience. - Either way, you should be measuring your quilt top before cutting borders to make sure they will fit properly. Much thanks to Connie Farland of NC for noticing that. For other "oops"es, See Pattern Corrections

Talk to you soon!
